Style Is More Than What You Wear.....

If you're here and you don't know that then you might be in the wrong place. Don't leave, let me educate you.

Do you remember when you first started playing The Sims and you would spend hours building houses thanks to the unlimited cash cheat? Yeah, me too. This was my first brush with interior design but it sure as hell wasn't my last. Fast forward now and I've moved on to the fashion part of design but I never let go of my love for interior decorating. Well, I may have sorta found a way to combine the two. When I started my Quarter Life Millennial blog I was creating graphics for it that I thought were pretty cool. Because I liked them I thought others might like them too and maybe buy them. I created a Society6 shop but never advertised the things I was selling mainly because I wasn't completely sure anybody would buy them. This all happened last Summer and here I am this year, trying again. What changed? Well, my confidence. You guys might not know this but this blog is growing and so is my presence on Pinterest. I've had people purchase things based on my suggestions and I've peaked the interest of enough people that I'm actually making a tiny bit of profit from suggesting items. My side hobby is slowly becoming a viable source of income and it's all thanks to you. Thank you for reading this blog and giving me a chance to style your life in some way.

All the mushy out the way, Society6 allows you to upload designs that you create and place them on different items including canvas, tshirts, bath mats, you name it. If you're old enough to remember the website from the early 2000's CafePress then it's similar to that. As I mentioned I tried selling on there last year but this time I actually want to dedicate time to creating and promoting the products I'm selling. If you check out my storefront now you'll see some designs I've uploaded to play around with the site and even though they aren't my best work I am fond of them so if you like something don't hesitate to make a purchase.

What does that mean for this blog? Nothing major, I'm still going to be doing my usual fashion stylings, in fact I want to create a new schedule where I have Nordstrom Mondays, Style Wednesdays, and Flash Sale Fridays (a catchier title maybe? I'm working on it). I'm just exploring all options right now. I do want to say that if you're not following me on my social media pages then definitely checkout the right sidebar and hit me up. I'm always on Twitter and I'm trying to get back into Instagram (I have 2 accounts, one for my personal use and one for styling. They're both listed). If you're really into fashion (plus size to be exact) check out the board I'm a part of on Pinterest FATshionistas - Plus Size Style I post all of my Plus Sized finds from around the web there and it's the best place to get a sneak peek of what I'll be styling on Wednesdays. I hope everyone has a great weekend. I think I'm going to schedule a much needed nap.
